In lieu of our annual gala and auction, The Evergreen State College Foundation is hosting an ambitious, six-week virtual scholarship drive to raise $200,000 benefiting the Evergreen Scholarship Fund. The scholarship drive will conclude with a celebratory, free virtual Art of Giving event on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 11 am–12 pm (PDT) for donors, alumni, friends and businesses in honor of Evergreen students.

Greeners will play a critical role more than ever before in addressing the challenges to our democracy, our environment, and our world. Over 40% of Evergreen students are identified as low-income and many are now experiencing heightened food, housing, and employment insecurity. This means students are forced to make the difficult decision of choosing to pursue their education or meeting their basic needs for survival.

Your generosity will ensure Evergreen’s resilient students can continue forward with confidence on their journey of learning—a journey that carries them into the world, ready and eager to change it for the better.
