Erika was selected by her peers for this honor because of her exceptional customer service and team leadership. With a helpful, encouraging smile, she consistently handles challenging situations and workloads effortlessly and without error.

One example of Erika’s incredible customer service skills is when a customer who only spoke Spanish called inquiring about a home loan after they received news that the home they were renting was being sold. Erika assisted throughout the entire process, thinking creatively to find solutions when issues arose. She worked closely with the customer’s insurance company and real estate agent to translate for the customer as needed and she put the customer at ease, helping them gain confidence and ultimately achieve their goal of homeownership.
In addition to her everyday duties, Erika has shown an eagerness to take on additional tasks such as her role on OlyFed’s Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B) committee. She has shown initiative by seeking out community connections to introduce the OlyFed team to new and exciting learning opportunities.
