Maria joined OlyFed in 2017 as a Universal Banker at the Downtown Olympia branch. With her prior banking management skills, she was quickly promoted to an Assistant Branch Manager at the Westside branch in April 2018. In October 2020, she moved to Loan Officer at the Lacey branch and a year later in October 2021 moved to Assistant Branch Manager at the Hawks Prairie branch.
In September 2022, Maria was promoted to Senior Assistant Branch Manager at both the Hawks Prairie and Yelm branches. Maria’s hard work has been recognized within the association with awards for her active role in support of community organizations, her commitment to life-long learning as well as her ability to set an example and step up to help others.

In her free time, Maria can be found cuddling her bulldog Maisy and watching the New Orleans Saints. A fun fact about Maria is that she has known she wanted to work for a bank since she was in high school! We are lucky to have her here at OlyFed.
