Sandy DiBernardo joined OlyFed in 1986 as the bank’s receptionist and has held several positions including, Administrative Assistant, Marketing Assistant, AVP/Marketing Coordinator and VP/Marketing Director. Recognized with several awards for her customer service and quality of work; Sandy is very active in the community and has served on several community boards and committees. Organizations she’s been a part of include: Harlequin Productions, Washington Savings League, Buy Local, Thurston Asset Building Coalition, Boys & Girls Clubs and West Olympia Rotary.
Josh Deck, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

A former bank examiner, Josh Deck joined OIyFed in 2011 at VP/Risk & Compliance Manager. He was quickly promoted to Senior Vice President/Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and just this past year was named Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Josh serves on the board of directors with the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and coaches his kids’ basketball and baseball teams. This past year Josh was named to South Sound Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40 for all his contributions to OlyFed and the community.
Alison Densley, Training Coordinator
10 Years of Service
Hired as a Customer Service Representative at our Tumwater branch in 2011, Alison Densley was quickly promoted to Lead CSR at the Hawks Prairie branch. Soon after, she moved back to Tumwater as Branch Operations Supervisor and then she returned to Hawks Prairie as Assistant Branch Manager. Three years ago Alison took all of her knowledge and expertise to our Training Department and is now Training Coordinating helping with the onboarding of our new team members and the continuing education of our Association staff. Alison has received numerous awards, including Employee of the Quarter and serves on the organization’s Better Fedder culture committee, as well as, Concern for Animal’s Board of Directors.
Lauren Ingersoll, Training Coordinator

Hired as a Customer Service Representative at the West Olympia branch in 2016, Lauren was promoted to Universal Bank in Tumwater just a year later. Smart, knowledgeable and customer-focused, Lauren was again promoted in 2018 to Assistant Branch Manager at the Downtown Olympia branch and in 2020 Lauren took her expertise and hands-on experience to the Training Department as a Training Coordinator, where she now helps ensure all of our OlyFedders have the skills and resources to successfully serve our customers and community. Lauren has been recognized with several awards for both her commitment and care to her colleagues and our customers.
Erin Hendrix, Universal Operations Assistant

Erin Hendrix joined OlyFed in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative at our Lacey branch and in 2016 she was promoted to Lead CSR. In 2017, Erin was promoted to Operations Assistant and has been a part of the Ops team ever since. Erin’s ingenuity, thoughtfulness and care for others has been recognized with several awards from her colleagues. Continually looking for learning opportunities, Erin is an incredibly hard-working individual who looks for new opportunities to improve the Association’s systems and service delivery.
Ken Pekola, Vice President/Commercial Lending Director

With decades of banking experience, Ken Pekola was hired in 2016 as OlyFed’s first Senior Commercial Real Estate Officer helping to develop a new segment of business for the bank. A well-respected leader in the community, Ken quickly cultivated and enhanced new and existing relationships with builders, developers and business owners in the community and was promoted to Vice President in 2018. Ken has played a critical role in many of OlyFed’s largest lending projects like Merritt Manor and The Lurana, which is why he was promoted to Director of Commercial Lending in 2020. Ken has served on the Board with the Friends of the Olympia Farmers Market and recently was appointed Board Member with Homes First.
