With years of marketing, business development, community outreach and public relations experience, Ryan joined OlyFed to help with community outreach and customer communications initiatives. Within a few years, he also became a Certified Financial Marketing Professional through the American Bankers Association (ABA) and a graduate of the Washington Bankers Association (WBA) Executive Development program. In this time, he moved from Manager to AVP and ultimately Vice President in 2019.
He jumped in with a strong commitment to our mission of mutual partnerships and excellent customer service – delivering upon these values internally to fellow OlyFedders and externally to clients and community partners every day. Because of his immersive leadership style, his contributions are seen throughout OlyFed and he currently also serves as our Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer, Chair of our Product Development Committee and a lead for our Product & Service Innovations Committee.
Ryan is deeply involved with a number of community organizations and is a member of the board for United Way of Thurston County, where he recently became President-Elect and serves on the Boys and Girls Club Resource Development Committee.
“Ryan is a wonderful addition to our leadership team”, Lori Drummond, President & CEO said. “His commitment to his peers and our community makes him a great fit.”
“Ryan exemplifies our mutual model of inclusion and partnership and produces great results within OlyFed and out in our community. We’re proud to support his work and look forward to many years of his contributions and ideas.”
He has received nine of our internal corporate value awards that serve to recognize exceptional service including being named Employee of the Quarter by his peers in 2017. Ryan has accomplished a lot in his short amount of time. Please join us in recognizing his leadership at OlyFed.
Congratulations, Ryan! You’re #SimplyTheBetz!
